    Come to a Local 464 membership meeting with our President, Chief Steward and OPSEU Staff Representative to answer your questions about the finalized award, lump sum and retro payments, from Arbitrator Stephens’ November 2013 Wage Standardization Award. 

    The arbitration settled the long standing OPSEU 464 wage standardization issues which arose from the amalgamation and creation of The Ottawa Hospital from the former Civic, Grace, General and Riverside Hospitals in 2000. 

    Please note that any discrepancy issues with regards to the calculations of your retroactive pay of June 20 2014 need to be brought to the attention of the hospital and OPSEU before August 20, 2014.

  • Bargaining Survey

    The bargaining survey is now closed. Thanks to all those who filled it out.

    There will be a demand set meeting held on Wednesday September 10th, 2014 @ 6pm at the RA Centre. The proposals developed by the bargaining team from the survey and any other issues or proposals that come from the floor will need to be approved by the members present at this meeting.

    Lump Sum Payment Update

    Following the steps on the arbitration award; the hospital and OPSEU are currently working on the implementation of step one of the award (the lump sum payments detailed in Schedule A). In order to be eligible for a lump sum payment you had to still be employed by the hospital on March 31, 2007. If you terminated your employment before that date or were hired after; you are not eligible.
